Out of Town Patients

Dr. Al-Misky regularly treats patients from all over the United States and all over the world- she is accustomed to treating patients with a limited window of time in NYC. Her practice at the corner of 5th Avenue and 72nd Street makes it convenient for visitors to visit the clinic on foot, by car, or by public transportation.

Dr. Al-Misky requests that out-of-town visitors contact her office as far ahead of time as possible- 2 months ahead if possible. A longer lead time helps ensure that Dr. Al-Misky can allocate enough time to get all of the needed treatments done in the limited time the patient has in the city. In the first in-office consultation, Dr. Al-Misky will use an ultrasound to have the most accurate diagnosis of which veins need treatment. For out-of-town patients, she can have a brief FaceTime or Skype consultation previous to the in-office visit. This consultation would allow her to see the patient’s skin condition and can then estimate how much treatment is needed. Ideally patients would make their schedules flexible for 4 to 6 days while in NYC to allow Dr. Al-Misky to get all of the treatments done that are needed.
